Tags: Government, Hate As of January 1st the parking meter rate will be the highest in the nation at $5/hour up $.75 cent. What are we getting for all we pay to these meters. The opportunity to go to city hall and pay the highest ticket fines, or to city hall to grab up some of the highest permit prices. I'm sure Daley gets no kickback on the lease of our streets, and before he leaves us for good he plans on leasing out the water department so that this time next year you'll be paying more for water than we do for gas. Thank you Richard you're as great a mayor as you dad.
