Ok....so I'm a stay at home mom, I don't get out a lot with friends, but I make the effort. Me and my sister were really looking forward to seeing Sex and The City 2. We've seen every episode and the first movie...its safe to say we're fans. So, we decided to go opening weekend. I spent $7 to get in (matinee prices...gee what a bargain), I bought a diet Coke and a VERY small popcorn...it was wee. I think I spent $8.50. We find perfect seats...and sit down. We're there early, so we chat. Two older ladies sit right behind us...which is fine, but odd since most of the other seats were unoccupied. They were loud...really loud, like they couldn't hear each other very well. But, its fine, because the movie hasn't started yet. The lights go down and the previews begin...they continue to talk. Now this may sound odd, but we look forward to the previews...sometimes they have been better than the movie! So, we make the decision to move...we can see where this is going. So, we go ALL the way to the back. They talked through the entire movie!!...it was all I could do to not stand up and say...." Shut up!" But...I didn't. I have before, sometimes it works and sometimes you want to run out of the theater when the movie is over, so you don't get smacked! Alas to say...the movie was ok...it would have been better if Betty and Rose would have been chatting it up at say Panera, though. To summerize this long story....I've been FUCHED!
