I signed up for a membership with George a few months ago. With good intentions, naturally I only used my membership the first day. I delayed canceling because I was going to try to motivate myself.
So, I have paid for 3 months. Before my 3rd month was paid, i called the club to cancel. I even spoke with George, who signed me up. I believe I remember that the last month was free when you cancelled. So my thought process was that I would get a refund and would only have been out $30. No. It was a Saturday and George at the club cannot cancel my membership. I have to call the 1-800 number. So I didn't remember come Monday and now I've paid for 3 months. I tried calling the number today, was on hold for 25 minutes, and then the call was disconnected!!!!! How frustrating!!! I just want to cancel and now I want 2 refunds!!!!! How can George sign me up but not be able to cancel my account?! This is HIGHLY frustrating and for this irritation I do NOT RECOMMEND BALLY TOTAL FITNESS TO ANYBODY. No business should give you this much hassle just to do one simple thing. Service SUCKS!!!!! IBF!!!
