On October 21st I purchased a blueberry scone from a Starbucks in Washington. After I had ate about half of the scone I felt something hard in my mouth. I pulled it out of my mouth to discover it was a beetle completely intact. It had been baked into the scone. I took the scone back to Starbucks, took pictures of the beetle and the scone and sent a letter with pictures to Starbucks. I have been talking to them weekly and last week I received a $15 gift card for my compensation for having a beetle in my mouth. Of course, I was furious and called them and said I didn't agree with their customer service. They told me there was nothing else they could do for me. So I am trying to get the work out there about how poor the customer service is at Starbucks!!! IBF
